Hold the phone, stop the inquiry, pull the plug on any further reports to be written … I have figured out the Car- Pedestrian Collision Problem in HRM!! Today (Tuesday) I was driving down a busy Spring Garden Road at 5:30pm (some may call this traffic hour), and one of HRM’s finest steped out in front of my car. He was not at a traffic light, there was no crosswalk, and the traffic was not even stopped (well until I had to suddenly break to avoid him). Way to go police man! You are a great role model for all the other pedestrians who need to learn the rules of the road. Perhaps if the ones who are suppose to be enforcing the rules would follow the rules themselves, we would have a smaller problem. —Problem Solver Extraordinaire

  1. BRAKE people… you BRAKE for pedestrians… and cops, ’cause it be far nastier otherwise….

  2. Today I saw a police car trying to go around a turn that would have been simple, this one spun out of control, must have hired this one with good customer skills, lol.

  3. OB I bet you are the kind of person who would be scared if you were in the middle of a warzone with bullets flying all around you and bombs going off everywhere. You are such a pussy. I bet you’d be the first one to call the police if you witnessed a relative being stabbed in the face. You have NO RIGHT to judge someone that wears a badge. Ever.

    Amiright brotim?

  4. And your theory explains the number of non law enforcement pedestrians struck in marked sidewalks, exactly how?

  5. Only you can stop yourself from being hit by a car, don’t be in front of it!!!!

  6. just another crybaby bitcher that probably got a ticket sometime in their life and has to whine at every opportunity about the police…i call BS on this one.

  7. Cops are people and sometimes people do stupid things. But then again I just know the OB has never done anything stupid.

  8. Our city’s finest doing what they do best. Not obeying all the rules we’re supposed to.

    Yours truly.
