If you’re going to walk at night along the side of the road, please, for your own safety, wear light colours, something reflective, or carry a lit flashlight. —Trying to drive safely

If you’re going to walk at night along the side of the road may I suggest a tight blouse, a very short (possibly labia-revealing) skirt, and white leather high-heeled boots? There will be no need to carry a flashlight since, once the car door is opened, a ceiling light comes on. Good luck and don’t take any IOU’s.

    A pleasure as always.

    Cheerio!

  2. That is good advice for pedestrians. However, if the truth be told, if you can’t handle the challenge of night driving with darkly dressed pedestrians, then I suggest you have the responsibility to throw your keys away and take the bus because there will always be dark dressed pedestrians out there so get over it.

  3. montrealman, you crazy so-and-so.

Great Value, i semi-agree with what you’re saying but I need to ask.. do you drive? Because a person clad in black on a black night is completely invisible. It’s sort of how darkness works.

My personal safety is also, at least in part, my own responsibility. I am not so useless as to assume that i can be as stupid as i want and still expect the world to protect me at every turn.
