A good friend of mine (awkward date in grade 8 but best friends after, even though being my friend back then was social suicide) was just recently raped and robbed at knifepoint. To hell with the impatient idiots that can’t wait an extra two minutes for their service…it’d be do difference than if they had to stay in line. You are worth more than their gas and lotto ticket. Yeah, it doesn’t seem like 5 years ago, I’m pretty sure it was 2 tops. That incident is a big reason why they installed those things. The official rule is that you can’t have someone working alone after a certain hour, unless you have one of those windows. Cheap ass gas stations should spring for the extra person, and still have the window for good measure.
I like the one in Highfield cuz you can go into the station, the attendant is just behind glass. It’s nice to be able to actually go in and pick something off the shelf instead of having to get the poor guy/girl to go get it for you. Not to mention it gets cold outside.
