Yesterday, I was waiting for my bus I get EVERY SINGLE DAY, same bat time, same bat place…the number 17 on bayers road.
I was CLEARLY standing in front of the bus shelter in perfect view of the driver. As the bus came closer I steped up to wait for its arival, the bus motored by me like it was in a Nascar race. I was like WTF?! what the hell am I gonna do now, i’m going to be late for work, perfect!
Okay so i’m not one to constantly bitch about metro transit, I use it all the time, and never had many complaints. But yesterday just really put a knot in my knickers, I mean really, are they hiring blind drivers now?
if it happends again i’ll be forced to make a formal complaint to metro transit itself, but for now i’ll take my frustrations out here.

Katie, I’m sorry to hear about what happened to you, it happened to me also. Something worse keeps happening also. I used to work in burnside and took the 52 back to halifax. One day a week, and only one, Thursdays, the bus never showed up for an entire hour. I’d be off work, I’d have people waiting with me, and we all stand there waiting for an hour approximately. During rush hour, usually that bus runs every 15 minutes i think. I called several times and nothing was done about it. Finally i saved enough money and bought a car. I know you may not be in that position, but trust me, a car will do you good. So much better than taking metro transit. They couldn’t explain why the bus just simply didn’t show up. They tried to blame it on traffic, i explained to them that i’m waiting at the stop that’s 3rd on the route from the actual head office in burnside, there’s no fucking traffic there!!!
