i’ve been getting some vm from some people who cannot articulate well or speak so fast or too close to the receiver, that all i hear is a vocal blur. even the new lady at my bank does the same thing, and if i had not known the phone or business i would not have returned the call. are you so busy that you need to rush your message?

I leave VMs all the time for my clients. Sadly, I’m usually so busy that I’m doing 15 things at once, and I’m usually doing thos things while calling the client. Take it easy, if you can’t understand us, get off your ass and come in. Or, alternatively, email, or even better, return the phone call. Half the VMs I leave go unanswered, and it’s not due to being unclear; people are lazy.

Wow M, you hate women because you have a hearing problem. That’s a new one. Your sense of smell, however, seems to be on overdrive.
I think the best is when I leave a message and articulate very clearly what the message is about and include the my phone number very clearly…….they call back and ask if I called them and what it was about(they see our business number and don’t bother listening to the message)
Someone should submit five bitches – one for each sense – and see if M can come up with a reason to hate women for all of them. Actually, I guess only sight, touch and taste remain, as ‘it’s’ clearly showed distaste for their smell and sound.

And to regress, I too can’t stand mumbled VMs, which the vast majority seem to be. I don’t think I’ve ever gotten all the details of a message without replaying it at least once. Usually I’m the type that Cranky described who just calls back and asks the same questions the message was suppose to answer – annoying perhaps, but at least I’m getting the information I was supposed to get.
