Internet voting? What internet voting? The pin doesn’t work. OK, I’ll try the phone number. Invalid credentials. So what’s the point of mailing me this? I work nights so voting during the day at the polling station is inconvenient. But I guess it’s my only option since this shit doesn’t work. I’m not even surprised. I hope they didn’t waste too many tax dollars on this pointless voting system. —annoyed

I had the same problem! I called the helpline, they had my birth date wrong. Fixed in under five minutes.
Mine worked fine; I hope they do this for the next provincial and federal elections. Although I did miss the customary visit to the pub after physically voting at the polls/
You are dealing with systems where human error can happen in any situation be it e-voting or at polling stations. Wrong information entered in either instance causes problems. Usually happens only to a few people, but is a pain in the keister, when it does happen, and getting the right info updated etc. Some folks were being sent to wrong polling stations, not even in their district, for example.
