I’d like to think that Halifax’s own indepenent newspaper would be on top of new and exciting acts going on around the city, but nope!
As i write this i see a little advertisement to the right that says “login as a member, be a part of the change”. Well why don’t you dissmissive indie mother fuckers try being a part of the change yourselves! Open your eyes and give some recognition to some quality live music. We have been fillling up shows every week for 14 weeks STRAIGHT now and letting you know about it. You have not come, once. Worst thing is we aren’t some assholes from somewhere else, we are all Haligonians and you fucks should be proud to have us! Its too late now though, you can take your free paparazzi campaign and cram it up your tight little asses.

just like you are all over some other bands that have been playing every week for five plus years? I have yet to see somthing about the sleepless nights, who are possibly one of the best bands in halifax, and most underrated. There are other acts as well I would like to see get some press. It does seem its the same old same old bands all the time….

Wow, how do you get packed shows on Sundays and Mondays and Tuesdays? Those are typically dead nights and some places don’t even open then.

If you really mean that you play a couple shows a week for like 3.5 months, well get in line. Anyone who calls themselves a dedicated musician probably SHOULD be doing that anyway.
