How does an all-knowing god NOT impart the knowledge to human prophets that homosexuality and other variations of gender are genetic as science now proves?
Why would god first create two human beings but make one of them inferior to the other? Eve comes across as almost an afterthought, rather than a creation who deserves equal attention from a creator who values both genders.
Both the male and female are necessary to procreate. This suggests an equality of measure, yet females have traditionally, under patriarchal religion, been relegated to being “the second sex”, relieved of human rights to the benefit of the male of the species. Is god a male conception, invented to serve the needs and greeds of the gender?

As to why Neanderthals died out. there are many reasons identified by scientists today, and has been for decades. Change in climate opened up more area for traditional prey to travel. Most populations of neanderthals were small. there were three distinct migrations of neanderthals, including to east asia. they interbred, and of course had genetic mismatches, and it is widely accepted that genetic markers with males fetus would cause miscarriage. then the whole thing about diseases evolving in isolated pockets of neanderthal populations. when introduced to H.Pylori for example the neanderthals were ill equipped to defend against that, whereby the modern humans had developed resistance to it…could go on and on.
Sans… the “fool” in Psalm 14 denotes one who is morally deficient, not one who is uneducated. You cannot use that translated meaning in your argument.
Matthew 13:42 is part of the parable of the weeds and refers to the non-believers of Jesus who will be thrown into a fire like the weeds pulled from the planting fields.
You would have to be uneducated to refute scientific reasoning and proven theory that the likelihood of Jesus (or any other Jesus for that fact) coming back to Earth and throwing me and other like me into a fire is nil.

Why is it that when someone points out historical gender imbalances (as prescribed by religion no less) the knee-jerk response is to apply labels? Try harder. It’s too easy to dismiss individuals based on gender rather than merit. God did it too.

Just to throw things in a fire. It is accepted that an asteroid hit the Earth near the Yucan Peninsula. As a result the dinosaurs (all species became extinct, yet mammals, insects, reptiles, and other ground based animals survived. Further, all sea going dinosaurs were also extinct, yet fish, eels, sea going mammals all survived. So was there some sort of Kryptonite in the asteroid that just affected dinosaurs (land, sea, and air) to the degree they became extinct.
See the thing is that God and science can co-exist. Think of the mathematics that are involved in creating the Earth and life on it. So those who believe in God believe God created it all. Those who believe in science think that all this came accidentally.
Do I think the Earth is 6,000 years old? No. Do I think Adam and Eve were the first humans? No. The Old Testament combines stories within history. Someone asked why God doesn’t intervene more. Well one of the things He gave, according to Scriptures is free will. He built it and we control what we do, good and bad.
There are many scientists that believe in God and others that do not, just like the general population.
My final argument is that when you die, one of two things will happen. One there is no God and you rot in the ground, get cremated, eaten, or whatever, and your soul (or electrical discharges) is forever gone. Or there is a God and then one must answer to Him. So as humans with free will, you can choose which way you want to live.
As for organized religion, it is something that humans did and one thing humans are is that they are fallible.
The thing about pascal’s wager is it doesn’t take into account the average case: There is no god and you spend your whole life not doing what you want and believing in nonsense that holds you and the rest of the world back. A life of ignorance and slavery is worse than the minuscule probability that there’s a god and you’re going to hell for not believing in him. We can’t prove if god exists now scientifically, but even the basis of faith a strong indication he doesn’t. There are a billion other ways control people if you’re a god and you give people definitive proof you exist. Otherwise if there is no god and you’re creating a religion embedding a faith clause at the root of it is a great way to get people to believe in something that isn’t real. Also the infinite punishment v.s. infinite reward thing, clearly someone was trying to maximize their number of potential followers.
We are free to believe whatever we want, and I believe you’re stupid as fuck!

Actually, not at all. From the ancient Phoenicians to the Maya, the consensus amongst those with critical thinking abilities was that the world was a sphere. Even sailor’s wive’s watching their husband’s ships appear, masts first, on the horizon knew this.
In fact, the Greeks calculated the diameter of the earth to with a few percentage points using geometry and precise measuring of triangles betwixt land and sea and mountain top etc.
It was the Christian church in the time after the Romans that decreed the earth as ‘flat” (the four corners etc), not “science”!
Like most topics in science, there were some monks and priests who had the spare time and the education to dabble in facts…but the CHURCH itself was very much opposed to any contradictions of its collection of children’s bible stories.
And so you can bury that tired old meme about “science” thinking the earth was flat. No, that was religion that insisted on THAT.
