Isn’t it funny that women can joke about men and their shortcomings these days but if we say the least funny thing about a woman and/or her gender, then you’re lower than ant shit. I feel so bad for men today (yes, I am female) because they’re scared to death to say the wrong thing. This is all such horseshit. Lighten the fuck up, ladies, I’m tired of your goddamn victim mentality.

Right Christopher..nobody’s posted here because we’re all afraid. in fact this post has me shaking so badly right now, the jam just dripped out of my donut and onto my dress. Things have become so bad…
I’m hiding behind a tree, I’m so scared.I’m going to see if Rainman will lend me her machine gun, to protect myself. And maybe some boiled dinner, while I’m over there.
hahahaha
I’d like to think I’m an equal opportunity offender.
Gosh you people take things so personally it’s sad…I was merely making an observation based on the fact that EVERY post other than this one had comments, so sorry if you think I was calling YOU personally afraid.Oh and for the record I was commenting on those other important posts, oh and where did I personally say that all women treat men like shit Lynn? You are quite emotional and misdirected in your anger…get some help or go take it out on someone or thing that is deserving of it and get off my back.
Wow and everyone is too afraid to even comment…guess it just goes to show how bad it has become.
Maybe nobody cares.
Too afraid, Christoper? Did it ever occur to you that people were replying to more important things- like racists and anti-abortionists? Where were you in those arguments? Should we all assume that you don’t care about those issues like you are doing here? Hmmmm….Not all women treat men like shit!
Ok I can’t resist. Don’t the responses to Christopher’s post kind of prove the original poster’s whole point???(pulls on asbestos suit)
Ummmm…. no? We were making fun of Christopher for saying we wouldn’t post because we were too scared. It could have been a chick who said that, we would have done the same thing.
God qwerty, get out of my head! I was in the process of writing the same thing, almost verbatim. Starting with ummm…. no.
That happens with me and you alot… I’m wondering if you might be my cyber soul mate…
You take me so seriously. But the original poster said women can say whatever they want, but men get in trouble for speaking up.And I think Christopher spoke up and said all the MEN were afraid to post (because they’ll get beat up by women), and then BANG he got beat up for it.I thought it was a pretty fun prima facie demonstration of the proposed principle.:-)
I can only speculate that women degrade men because of being in a shitty relationship or have been mistreated by men in some manner. There are assholes of all genders and the list goes on. The “good” ones seem to be in demand but hard to find these days.My wife and I are best friends and soul mates. Something like that is hard to come by.
I actually feel like there’s alot I can’t (or shoudn’t, or can’t without facing certain repurcussions) say or do, because I’m a woman. It happens alot. If I went around whining about it like a little bitch (like the OP is doing), I would full well expect to be mocked. And Christopher was ridiculed for saying something stupid as a human, not as a man. It wasn’t a gender thing.
I totally agree with Christopher, Jammie and Senor!! I am a woman and I will say what I please when I feel I am right. I do it in a respectable manner and will also listen to another’s point of view. I respect men who are honest, trustworthy and who obviously respect others. I will not name nics, but with all due respect (and that’s not much lately…) I’m not sure who pissed in your cornflakes recently but with the whole rainman/ginger issue, your comments are getting way out of line. Not sure if it’s because you feel like you have an audience now. I’m all for expressing your views in an open forum but from what I’ve been reading lately, it’s been getting way out of hand. I used to respect your opinions on certian topics. Now, I think you’re just starving for attention yourselfs. Sorry but I’m just another woman expressing her views!
Yes… you’re Ginger, remember?Oh Gingy *sigh
If that’s all you can come up with, have another drink!!
Yup…. that’s our Gingy!!! Good thing, too, we were staring to run out of Gingerisms.
You want to keep it up all evening? I have nothing better to do tonight and I’m drinking LOL Give it your best shot biatch 🙂 I didn’t care much for Ginger either but as this progresses, I don’t much care for you either. LOL
Nope, I’m just going to continue mocking and quoting you.
I’d say Senor is not too far off the mark. Women “bash” men, for lack of a better word, as a way of commiserating and venting frustration. I know men do the same thing. Most people are aware that they’re making outrageous generalizations. The difference is, most men have enough sense to restrict that kind of banter to men-only groups. An unfortunate number of women think it’s ok to slag men right in front of them. I’ve seen some women even try to include men in the anti-man banter. And the poor men feel like they have to play along to prove that they’re “nice guys”. I’ve done my share of cathartic “man bashing” among my girlfriends. But I would never be so unspeakably rude as to say those things around my male friends. Lots of women would though. The OP has a point there.
I fully agree Miranda. I’ve seen and heard it done hundreds of time by women. Not sure why women do that though… is it a lack of self esteem? Self confidence? A need to be accepted? Looking for an opinion form other women. I’m really curious!
Umm, Ernie? Your comment had nothing whatsoever to do with what Christopher, Jammie, or Senor said. You said you agreed with them, but your comment was a complete non sequitur.I TOLD you to stay on topic, MOTHERFUCKERS!!!
Women do it among other women to commiserate and blow off steam, like I said. Women who do it in the presence of men do it because they are rude, self absorbed, and lacking in social skills. IMO.
I didn’t need to regurgitate what they said. Everyone else can read. I simply added.
GING-Y! GING-Y! GING-Y! (a la Jerry! Jerry! Jerry!)
Fair enough, Ernie. Fair enough.
Now now qwert. Not everyone can be as articulate as us ;-P
Honestly, I think it’s a self esteem issue Miranda (agreeing with you post). They are looking for validation but in a way that’s totally unproductive.
Well, given that it’s usually young women who do this, there might be something to that.
Funny though, I’ve seen it done by older women too who are single with no prospects. Perhaps an “old maid” syndrome too!! lol (Oh I’m going to get a bashing for this too…:)
Now that you mention it, I’ve observed that too. My own mother does it. But I think the motivation is completely different in older and younger women. I’m formulating this theory as I type, so it might turn out to be utter bullshit. But I’m guessing that young women, when they make fun of men in the presence of men, are trying to assert that they don’t care what the boys think. But at the same time, they want the boys to like them. So they try to include the boys in the fun. And they are too self absorbed to realize that the boys don’t appreciate the joke.
Good point!! So why do the older women do it? 🙂
No idea. I have some insight into young women’s behavior, having been one once. But I haven’t been an old woman yet, so I won’t speculate.
LOL… I read a previous post (and I could be mistaken… there are so many on here) where you said you were in your early to mid 40’s. I found it great that you said you couldn’t comment cause you weren’t an “old woman ” yet. I am also in my early 40’s. Your comment was refreshing!! Thanks! 🙂
