Why is it that Custody and Access orders have written on them that they can be enforceable by Police ect. I spoke to a police officer and he said that “Ultimately if the mother will not co operate there is nothing they can do and you will have to go back to court.” If a man did that and not followed the order they would be hauled away in handcuffs. What gives? —.

yes o.p., they indeed do suck. as one having been in that situation years ago, i can feel for you.custody laws are changing tho, but sometimes , not for the best.

…and people wonder why kids get screwed up. I wish to hell people would think before they start squeezing zygotes out of their loins. Every kid I ever knew who had parents fighting over custody grew up fucked-up emotionally, resentful and distrustful. Thanks, Mom and Dad!
Never show her your displeasure with the circumstances, just accept it and, take your child support and put it in a separate bank account. Withhold it until she complies with the custody arrangements. Record all phone calls, text conversations and emails regarding this issue. When she drags your ass back to court, you can be ready with the cheque in hand as well as all the records of your correspondence over this issue. I highly doubt that the court will look favorably on her not living up to her part of the bargain.
It’s the price us guys pay for making 25% more than the ladies do for doing the same shit. I have no idea if that’s really true but it’s better than a “life sucks” cliche eh?
