What is up with Metro transit’s Go Time system? And the schedule, buses are SO rarely on time. Too many times have I made it to the bus stop with 5 minutes to spare and the bus has already gone by. So I have to wait for another 30 minutes. Argh. What’s more though, there has also been too many times where I have shown up at the bus stop prior to the scheduled time and no bus shows up at all, or it’s 15 or 20 minutes late.
An easy fix would be to install the buses with a GPS and connect that to the Go Time number so that the time is actually accurate when you call that number instead of wasting daytime minutes.

GPS tracking system? Bus fares go up again.
The funny part is- they do. The last time Go-Time was upgraded( a few months ago), the buses were equipped with GPS, so that in theory, the Go-Times were actually accurate. Too bad it’s not.
Can anyone explain to me when you call the bus line it says the bus is departing in x minutes. I was told this means when it’s leaving a major terminal (such as Mumford or bridge) in my direction. If so that is useless as I have no idea how long it’ll take to get there. Just curious.
Usually when the bus is sooooo late it means the driver is on the cell phone talking to his fucking twat and then he picks her up at a bus stop so she can block the door with her horny pussy.
Usually, there are traffic issues involved with it being late. Also, a lot of passengers at some stops, and some of themtake a while to load and unload. They can get to a bus stop early, but they can’t leave early, at least at certain stops.Set your watch ahead five minutes early if you’re worried about being late, then you won’t be late for anything.Bring something to read if you’re 15-20 minutes early, orbus with a friend and chat with them wile you are waiting. They’re working on this problem, so it’s called being patient.I had to wait 28 minutes because the bus I used to transferfrom would leave the stop two minutes before I’d get thereMy first bus was usually 10 minutes late. The second bus, It was only late once within a month or so of going on that route for me, because of a snowfall that started shortly prior to me taking that bus that day. Thebus can’t show up at the exact time that it has on GoTimeevery single time. In order to do this, they’d have to createa lane for buses only, and measure the exact time that it takes from one place to the other. Then they can pin-point itto the second. What happens if someone wants to crossthe street at an intersection? The bus-driver lets the personcross the street. Oh,oh. He’ll be late according to Go-Time.What if somebody cuts him off, while he makes a left-turn?He’ll be later according to Go-Time. What if there is anaccident, and a traffic jam is caused? Oh, my, he’ll beextremely late for Go-Time.What time of day are you talking about the bus being 15-20minutes late? Between 4p.m. and 6p.m.? Or maybebetween 8 a.m. and 10 a.m.? If so, no bloody wonder the bus is late.
