First, thank you to the stranger who contacted me about my lost bus pass/student ID/gym membership. I dropped all 3 in the Black Market and thought they were gone forever. I really appreciate that this stranger did not keep them.

Second, to the bus driver who helped the elderly man cross the street on Thursday. When the man got off the bus, it was clear that he had recently gone blind and was having a hard time finding his way around. This heroic bus driver stopped the bus and helped the elderly man through traffic and to his destination.

It’s people like this that make me love Halifax. I hope Karma has some wonderful things in store for you two! —LovesKindnessOfStrangers

  1. The other night, a woman at the bus stop near the Black Market asked me which bus would take her to SMU, because she had found someone’s i.d and wanted to return it. I wonder if it’s the same person? If not, hey, there are two good people out there. Glad you got it back!
