As I heard so many times during Harper’s gov’t. 39.5 percent of 68 percent is NOT a majority. Your bitch-shitting for the past nine years has create a new standard that you must now live with. —LOL at you!
This article appears in Oct 29 – Nov 4, 2015.

LOL at you because all those people pointing that out are still calling for electoral reform.
Oh, snap!
I get 2% at Costco, I’m doing pretty good.
My lovely Justin won fair and square, get over it and bring on the weed!
If we could amalgamate the left the way Harper did the right and view the election results as a two party system (hypothetically, not necessarily saying this is the best option), then it would be much more obvious where the country stands and it is far away from the right this election.
At the end of the day, it’s the same government and mentality.
Good luck with that! 😉
Well no Randomness, it is not; but we understand that you’ll miss ole Stevie. It’s okay to cry… want a puff?
I for one am glad Andy won. Rich people who lean to the left have lacked a voice for so long.
Harper got more percentage of the vote in the last election than Trudeau did in this one. 39.62% v 39.47%. This time around, Harper only lost 200,000 votes.
Bro Tim, try harder!
Voter turn out was 68%, up from 60%. So, Trudeau got 39% of 68%, much more than Harper’s 39% of 60%. Liberal policies offer much greater appeal to other voters (left-leaning conservatives, right-leaning New Democrats, Greens), along with many ineligible Canadians (youth 14-17 and ex-pats). Trudeau’s Liberals are Canada’s new consensus, like it or not.
When you count all the Canadians that didn’t vote for Trudeau, it works out to be 73.48%. Yet, this is enough for a majority mandate. I call for a better distribution of seats but are the Lieberals prepared to give up their strangle hold dictatorship on Canada?
Legalizing pot doesn’t make it a “good” government. But I guess majority only looks that far ahead and not much deeper than what’s directly in their field of view.
Great Value “are the Lieberals prepared to give up their strangle hold dictatorship on Canada?” was also coined about Harper. So to me that’s pretty much a similar government.
Yes they may legalize pot, which changes nothing! In fact all it does is actually distract people from the serious issues!
At the end of the day, our economy isn’t the greatest. NDP, Liberal, Cons. all stole from the tax payers anytime they were in power. I wouldn’t give a crap about corruption if this was a tax free nation like a lot of other nations that have corruption, but that is our hard earned income that we use to support our families! So I’m forced to give a crap!
Also if you think about it, seems like there are only 2 parties, much like the US, who conduct themselves in similar manner. Be it nationally or internationally.
Internationally, both parties have the same view and stance. During my travel, people have thrown the comment at me that “Our governments made the Americans look better”.
This has happened many times and it used to be the other way around.
Liberals fired people for expressing opinions and views that may have not agreed with their agendas, but were not at all harmful or detrimental to anyone! So did the conservatives and the NDP. What happened to the freedom we’re supposed to experience?
Keep in mind this is just expressing an opinion or view. Imagine what would happen if they actually physically support something that doesn’t jive with the parties’ views!
So in reality, pot is so minuscule compared to “real” issues that you’re so accustomed to ignoring! One major issue is racism and discrimination!

All parties turn a blind eye to that. And this is the LOCAL population. Actual Canadian citizens. Imagine the sentiment towards Non-Canadians!
I kind of think people who do not believe women should have abortions who are also legislators are extremely harmful and detrimental, if that is what you are reffering to Randomness. Ohhhh Great Value. Strangelhold on the second day? Dial down the rhetoric for the first week, buddy.
Not he has more time to practice with those shitty van cats
