I love it! Good for you. I’ve heard similar to this “at least I can do something about my weight but honey you’re stuck with that face forever!” People are rude, plain and simple. There’s more to a person than what meets the eye. People need to stop being so superficial. I had a guy I dated once, we got along fabulously. One day things got intimate….we figured it was time. Well shortly after that I was talking to him and he said “you’re an awesome girl, have an amazing personality, beautiful, ambitious, and have a lot to offer”. Then there was the big pause. I asked “What?” He didn’t want to say but then blurted out “if only you were in better shape”. I was devastated (because I am not THAT big). I lost a good friend that day and learned a valuable lesson….sleep with them right away, before you have any emotions invested! Kidding of course! Not cool! I laugh at it now.

I think they realize very well how rude that is. that’s not honesty, being blunt or plain spoken, that’s snide and spiteful. whoever is saying this is envious of you in some way, and is trying to knock you down a peg or two. scuff those people off like doo-doo on your shoe.
I also like Ivan’s suggestion. if they say ‘if only you could do something with your ass’ reply ‘ok! how about I sit on your head with it?’ or ‘the magic witch did this, if you kiss it, it will disappear’

Who are these people and why do they care? I might not like your ass but I’m not going to go out of my way to tell you. Is this like, after you’ve asked someone out and they’re giving you reasons why they don’t see you that way? Or do people just come up to you and start commenting on various parts of your appearance. If you have a pronounced rear end OP, embrace that. You can always lose a few pounds, but girls with flat bony little butts can never have what you have, no matter how much weight they put on. I cannot lie.
