  1. That’s so grade school, I can’t believe it. Some people are just idiots. Did you complain to management? I’d want a refund asap.

  2. seriously – that is so shitty i almost think you might be alittle paranoid. why would anybody do that jesus H Christ- that is really dangerous! if this person really did this and the machine didn’t just F#$@ up- then i would talk to Nubody’s -that is inappropriate and again i’ll say dangerous! CBS had a whole thing a few years back about possible dangers of treadmills – it was really quite scary what it can do to a persons face if you trip and fall…

  3. The gym can be a dangerous place. Everyone should be aware of there surroundings, and in this case, look at the tread before stepping on it.And if you’re sure someone was being malicious, I would report it.

  4. Look before you leap…Hey Dumbass! Could you not see the treadmill going around and around and around? Could you not hear the sound of the motor humming? Are you a complete idiot? I would have loved to see you fall flat on your face. I bet the person who turned it on for you had great chuckle afterwards. ‘There’s working out and then there’s going thru the motions.’ Arnold Swarzenagger

  5. K-Stan your the dumbass! you’re of the that stupid mentality that this other person must have been. “What a chuckle it would be to see this person fall on their face, or almost trip!” guess what…that is all fine and dandy for a laugh, but is harmful and i am sure if this resulted in an injury- as i am sure it would!- would probably be worthy of a court appearance. So consider that as a “great chuckle afterwards”. Regardless of the fact that this person may not have been observant enough to see that the treadmill was in motion, it is not the norm to predict that the person next to you could possibly screw with your machine for the sake of a laugh! Grow up!

  6. Holy shit!! You guys are classic. I cannot believe that someone actually took time out of their day to write in about a supposed guy who started the tradmill. If something like this can piss you off each day….well for all the guys out there, thank god you’re switching to the Y. Honestly. If a swimming pool was empty and you jumped in expecting it to be full, whose fault is it. And for all the users who are talking about lawsuits. No-wonder out courts are clogged full of stupid cases. Important cases are put on the backburner because of bloody litigation. Also, you seem to forget the fact that treadmills are an extremely harzardous machine. They should only be used:with parental supervision;with a trainer holding your hand;after a disclaimer has been completed;and if you have an IQ above 50.It should not be used if;You have a tendancy to run before you can walk;like wasting people’s time;Walk around with a bag over your head;do not have parental permission;have an IQ less than 45.I hope this helps. As for Karma, hugging trees and stuff. I’m a vegetarian because I don’t like plants.Adios

  7. Hey Beatentrails, Right-on my friend! These other yuppies except for Stan are full of hot air. What I’d like to know is, why did the person who was using the treadmill get off in the first place and pause it? Yes, I can read they went to get a drink, but hey, hogging the damn machine and then falling on your funny face is KARMA! Go pound sand.

  8. ok – really didn’t want to get caught up in some stupid debate. however to assume that all people are 100% aware of their surroundings and therefore are complete idiots to not notice if some other idiot has turned back on their treadmill in the hopes of laugh is completely ridiculous. yes we all should pay attention to our surrounding, especially if you are dealing with something that could potentially harm you, but to do so because there is a possiblity that someone could INTENTIONALLY do something that would potentially jeopardize another person’s health all for a laugh. yes i do think that is worthy of going to the police. we have enough possiblities of harmful results in our society that are out of our control. is it too much to expect adults to leave other adult’s exercise equipment alone. again i say grow up…OMFG!!!!
