OB, what are you going to bitch about next? Buses that stop at bus stops to pick passengers up? It’s part of their job.
Dd123… they don’t have to be assholes about doing their job… a little common curtisey goes a long way, all they have to do is not block traffic.
But they have their power tripping “I’m a cop , look at me, I can break the law, talkin’ on my celphone while drivin’, park anywhere I bloody well please, particularly in NO PARKING ZONES, block traffic & just be a general f’in asshole that can harass & infuriate you & there’s nothing you asshole members of the public can do about it !”
except keep a camera handy & if you see something, film it & post it on Utube ~;)
last time i got pulled over, the man made me put my front and rear wheels up on the sidewalk. so as not to impede traffic, and this was at 5:30 in the morning. go figure that one.
more, if you do that, you might be breaking the law, by taping him. a show on t.v. the other night dealt with just that type of thing.it is illegal in some states and most parts of canada, as far as i know. and if you did record them, you would have to have their permission to air it. so, you would be triply fucked, next time you got stopped. things can be checked you know. remember the fire fighters of awhile back?

They may try & snow you about their so called rights, but as long as you are not directly involved ,or blocking them you have rights in this country…they will happily walk all over them if they think they can get away with it.

grant that to you more, but why take the chance? let them do what they have to do. if you think something is wrong, then go to the head cop, or an outside source, like the ombudsman’s office. if you are the one being shitholed, then the latter is your best bet.i have been there about 20 years ago, after an accident with a cop car. he hit me in the rear of my car, when we got out to see what damage was done, he asked me for my paperwork, i showed him, then asked for his. he didn’t have a valid insurance card in his vehicle, so i jokingly said that maybe he should write himself a ticket for that. he got all upset and started to yammer about what the fuck, i don’t remember.
but his partner got out, and walked over to him and told him yes, to write a ticket out to himself, or he would do it. that damn neared floored me. but as the other cop said, if it would have been me, then i would have had the ticket. i’m friends with that cop to this very day. he was/is what hrp should be.
If people obey the laws of the road, we don’t have to worry about any of that do we OP.

WHile I’m not saying I don’t believe your cop story, its more likely one would hold you down while the other put the boots to you for resisting ! But we were talkin’ about camera’s & more importantly filming in public ! !
Unless yoer prepared to click yer heals together & shout out sieg heil at the drop of a hat to show how loyal you are … then I believe we not only should police the police, we are obligated to IF we believe we deserve to have any freedom.
If the police cannot stand any scrutiny, IMo that proves they are doing something wrong. IF they are not doing anything wrong, what is it exactly they believe they have to hide ?

My question is OB is, do you know exactly what a police officer can or cant do?Do you know what protocol they have to follow?Probably not (only what you see on TV cop shows probably).We read all the time time ( best mocking dufus voice),”cop parked in a no parking zone” or “wrong way down a one way street” or cop ties up traffic cause he pulled some over”
OB,the cop pulled a driver over,because of some traffic violation ,if traffic is snarled ,then blame the stupid driver for being a fucking moron ,not the cop,he’s just doing his job ya dumb fuck!!
