Almost everything is frozen, pretty much nothing actually comes from Nova Scotia (despite saying that it is on the menu), and yeah, some of that “Nova Scotian” seafood comes from a can. Some corners being cut is sadly expected, but charging top dollar for “local” seafood brought in from overseas is just an asshole move. We wouldn’t have minded keeping your secrets if you actually treated any of us with respect, but since you seem to think we all owe you our lives for minimum wage and being yelled at in front of customers, we happily sprinkle the rodent droppings of knowledge around town to any tourist who will listen. —Summer job hell

So… Why should we care? We’re not tourists… We don’t eat that crap… Why are you even bothering us with this nonsense…?
i guess you have never tried to run or even own your owb business o.p.? you have to cut corners sometimes out of needs to keep costs down and profits up. it’s called business sense.
All my made up businesses had good sense to em.
Gotta love disgruntled employees.
Yeah, getting yelled at and treated like a slave is so much fun. You should get a sandwich board and stand in front of the restaurant in question, just far enough away as to not get yourself arrested, There was a fellow in Dartmouth who stood at the corner of Highfield Park Drive and Joseph Young for years with a sign telling of his plight with a certain company across the street.
Yours truly.
The tourists don’t care, and won’t know what the fuck you are talking about.
I’m with Meaty, I could care less if some guy from mexico comes here and has our authentic nova scotian lobster from taiwan… it doesn’t affect my day in the slightest.
Cutting corners makes you piece of shit. Anyone with a SUCCESSFUL business will tell you that a high quality product/service and a reasonable price (with a reasonable profit margin) will raise you high above the “fly by night” pieces of shit that have to cut corners to make a profit. My business sense is telling me that if you have to cut corners (rip off your customers) to be successful, you are a no talent assclown!!!
A Big Mac is high quality?
Who the fuck is doing this?
Sigh…No, Tim, a big mac is not “high quality”.
One of a kind, legendary Big Mac®, made with two 100% Canadian beef patties, special sauce, crisp lettuce, processed cheddar cheese, pickles and onions on a toasted sesame seed bun. Nothing compares to the taste.
Nukka Except what I imagine shit on a stick would taste like.
^^That would be:
Our WHOPPER® Sandwich is a ¼ lb.* of savory fire-grilled beef topped with juicy tomatoes, fresh cut lettuce, creamy mayonnaise, crunchy pickles, and sliced white onions on a soft sesame seed bun. *Based on pre-cooked patty weight.
Served with a small side of piping hot, thick cut French Fries or golden Onion Rings and a small fountain drink of your choice to make it a meal.
I know a Big Mac isn’t high quality. I was showing your statement successful companies do not cut corners is wrong. Mickie D;s is highly successful but don’t use what I would call quality products and cuts corners by using processed frozen hamburger(?), processed cheese product, frozen potatoes, etc.
Yes, Tim, You’re right. Everyone should model their businesses after McDicks. You win!!!!

I already know this pertains to a certain house of wares on the water.. I could taste the tin in my 15 dollar lobster roll. Didn’t go there by choice..
