OK fine. What Tom said isn’t the greatest thing anyone has ever said. But it was 16 years ago, he was at an office party and he’d been drinking. I hate booze and everything to do with it so I don’t want to defend someone who was drinking and said something stupid but this is ancient history.

  1. I’ll bet the only thing that’s changed in the past 16 years, is that Tom can longer afford to say what he really thinks, now that he’s (for the time being) an MP.Once a bigot… Always a bigot…

  4. I find liquor shows you the real person pretty fast, it’d be fine if it was just some guy who has no say in anything, but this guy is an MP.
