Lucky I wasn’t there becuase after discovering the dog had died I would have broke every window out of that car… who’s to say in the malee that they were broken before or after the dog got out? Would have had to puncture the tires too to lower the car a few inches so we could reach in. I would also have been afraid of the airbags deploying, so they most likely would have been slashed just to be safe. Can’t be too certain.
Apparently this guy was at a conference or seminar. So he knew he wasn’t going to be gone for five minutes and just lost track of time. Please throw the book at this guy!
While not one to try & push for more laws & an increased police state …. But doesn’t behavior like this cry out for restrictions on people who do these horrific crimes. This was a torturous act committed against a trusting animal.
IMO a long time , possible life time ban on dog ownership , needs to be imposed . I could see if it was a cat … But we’re talking about dogs here (& I am just pulling your legs, with the cat comment) this type of crime should have as part of the punishment, that in future it is illegal for those who commit them to be able to own ANY animal…. Even a gold fish !
No animal should have to go through that, the stupidity of these owners is unbelievable .
