We rode the ferry over to Halifax the morning of August 1st. You were stunning in a green dress, with your blonde hair in a loose braid over your shoulder. My day started off miserably, but just seeing you (and that million watt smile you flashed as you held the door for me) made my day.
Chances are slim that you’ll ever see this, but I wanted to say thanks. Just your presence, and your kindness, changed everything. You’re like that suddenly spring-like day that crops up in the middle of January; a promise of life when all else is cold. Don’t ever change. —Suddenly looking forward to harbour crossings
