I was crossing at Agricola and Robie, stoked on the sunshine. I saw you rapidly approaching with a tool in hand. Thinking you were in a hurry to cross the street, I moved out of your way. You turned and screamed at me, “It’s a f**cking saw, girly, not a gun.” Your verbal assault ruined my perfect day, and f**k you, too, the many onlookers who said nothing. —Sad North Ender

  1. Other than confirming that it was, indeed, a hacksaw, the onlookers could have done little except to laugh at you. #YesAllHandyMen

  2. Oh my, what a verbal lashing he gave you. Now you’re going to be triggered by hacksaws for the rest of your life. My heart weeps for your struggle.

  3. The problem with most bitches against individuals is that the subject of the complaint is usually unaware and doesn’t have the opportunity to provide their interpretation of what transpired. The hacksaw toter may have perceived the OB as recoiling in terror at the sight of him toting an ordinary tool. This act alone would be accusatory in nature so I can understand his being perturbed.

Overall, this bitch speaks to the culture of fear perpetuated by the media and other fear mongers more than anything else. Seen any scary clowns lately?

  4. And just what did you think the onlookers, who said nothing, should have said and to whom? Jeez, seems they were just getting along with their lives and had no time for your drama – and for that you give them heck. After all it seems the guy did not physically attack you as such, even if he did say things that upset you and ruined your rainbows and unicorns day.

Also, just for giggles, how and where were you crossing at ‘Agricola and Robie’? Unless they changed the route of one of them the past few days they are parallel streets. Either that or you were stoked on more than sunshine.

  5. clearly. dickless with a tool in his hand is awefully sensitive about someone stepping to give him more room. He needs to get over it. Even a 110lb jogger in lululemons experiences people stepping to the side.
