If people would only keep their doors and windows locked, they wouldn’t need to worry. But if you like to leave them unlocked, you’re taking a risk with Halifax’s SleeperCreeper.

I’m afraid as well that if this creep is ever caught he’ll barely get a slap on the wrist. Being in someone’s bedroom is bad enough but what happens when he escalates. I suspect this started with some peeping tom reports and if it isn’t ended soon there could be a murder.

I’m not in the downtown core but I never started locking my windows and doors until I had a child. Now I have an alarm system in place and lock the door the second I walk through it. I just have too much faith in the people in my neighbourhood.

In the most recent incidents he actually touched his victims. As devilgirl pointed out, it will most likely escalate, in the manner of Russel Williams in Trenton. He started out invading homes and taking trophies and finished up a rapist and murderer.
