Hey you. Yeah you. Thanks so much for that left turn you made at 7 this morning from Cumberland onto Cole Harbour, straight through the walk signal. I’m assuming you must have been doing something extremely important, SINCE YOU HIT MY FUCKING FATHER AND SPED OFF. You ran over and broke his foot, and he remembers shit aside from going to get a coffee and then suddenly ending up on the ground. Maybe you thought you only clipped him, I don’t fucking know, but you damn well KNEW since he would have been within humping distance of your motherfucking driver’s side window. Thanks to the other bastards driving to work who didn’t even stop to see if he was all right. I suppose if he can get up and hop, that means shit is hunky dory, right?

Now I’ve got a stubborn 76 year old who is allergic to pain meds and refuses to call the police (I don’t know why, I haven’t gotten the steam up for that fight yet, but I’ll assume it has something to do with him thinking a broken foot is less hassle than dealing with the fuzz, since he took the freaking BUS to and from the hospital instead of calling anyone and then hopped it home) twitching around the house. He won’t even use a friggin’ ice pack.

I’m looking for you, you fucker. If I can contact the Mounties without getting my father involved I’m gonna. I’ll put up posters if I have to, to see if anyone else saw something. You could have killed him, you sonofabitch. —Swampy

  1. Swampy, you can file a complaint yourself.
Check the neighbourhood for security cameras, it might have been caught on tape.

Good luck in getting the bastard.

  2. If he got away with it once, he’ll do it again. Report it before someone does get killed.

    Sorry about your dad.

  3. Your dad sounds like he is as stuborn as they come. I hope him a speedy recovery and that he is back on his feet in no time.

I used to cross at that intersection everyday walking to work and must admit that one is really bad. I am Lucky I never got hit walking home from The Big Leagues in that intersection before at night.

  4. Ok, first and foremost, sorry to hear about the collision.

BUT to not report it to the police because your Dad is stubborn is RIDICULOUS! YOU’RE the stubborn one. Honest to god, if you don’t report this, it is blatant elderly negligence. Get on it.

  5. Report it anyhow. If there were witnesses, they may have also reported it and the police may be waiting for the victim to come forward. Unless your Dad has something to hide?
