I was half-asleep, walking to work at 5:30 am. In my sleepy state, I somehow failed to notice that a car was following me near the Olands brewery.
When this creep pulled over, and flashed his lights, I woke up a little bit, but not quickly enough to react when he started getting out of his car. You came out of nowhere, pulled over, and called me over to your bus.
That was enough to make the creep get back into his car, pull a u-turn, and run off. I can’t explain how thankful I am that you were more aware of your surroundings than I was that morning. You probably didn’t think too much of the whole situation, but I can’t thank you enough.
There has been so much coverage about Halifax being a crime-filled city; it’s nice to know there still are a few good people around. —Thanks

That’s kind of scary OL – that being my ‘hood, makes me nerrrrrvous. Thank goodness that the bus driver came to your rescue on his noble steed!
Wow, very creepy (the car) and horray for the bus driver! Always makes me happy to know that there are genuinely good human beings out there.
Current events suggest that we may have our own Pickton lurking after dark. Situational awareness Ladies – get home safe. Big Rawks to the bus driver. (Hope it was our own PDG)
situational awareness…i’m all over that. an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure
Agreed!
But a .22 calibre doesn’t hurt if the ounces don’t work. Nice going bus driver dude!
teehee, if the ounces don’t work^^i prefer knives le roise noire…mornin rawk
I’m a bit of a klutz painey… I’d end up stabbing myself. With a .22 I don’t have to be THAT close and as long as I aim in the general vicinity of the genitalia… all gravy baby! Rawk!
i inherited the spaz gene along with good hair and height^^^i can’t run away so i’d have to get up-close and personal…grrrrr
Good thing you’ve got horns, painey – rawk!
…but i only like to bring them out on special occasions, otherwise it’s just too much gore
What with the unpredictable spazz gene and all.
High five for the bus driver that saved you lady…You should get ride with taxi and have your work company pay for your fares to get to work that early in the morning..It’s just not save to walk alone that early in morning..
the bus driver didn’t have to do that, but he did. bless his soul. you’re lucky. and what a nice bus driver.
