I was behind you in line and I wish I’d told you off the other day.

What you said made the cashier cry and leave her post. She was doing her job quite well until you had a problem with her. The things you said were highly inappropriate and quite rude.

I bet it made your day better to bully her around like that. Here’s a tip for the future: if you ever have an issue with the employee of a shop, take it up with their supervisor.

I remember your pinched and bitter looking face. You’d better hope I don’t see you do that again. —Just another brick

  1. yea in my brief retail stint i could spot they’re foul pusses from like many feet away; and I’d be right like 90% of the time ; actually i just remembered one time i had one ask about a special we had sold out of and i said semi under my breath: “no but I DO have a special on slaps and they’re like free ” 🙂

  2. My first job ever was at a grocery store and I started right before Christmas. Some bitch through a HUGE fresh fish at me because she got mad at the man behind her… people are brutal.
All the same, it wouldn’t have killed you to stand up for the cashier right then. Not a lot of good saying “You’d better hope I don’t see you do that again.”

  3. sounds like everyone’s dream girl there. sure she didn’t have a cereal with her name on it? some people just are too bitchy to walk, and talk. but then again, maybe the chickee, was a bitch to her, before you got behind this woman, and you only caught the retort.

  4. Are you kidding me? She made the cashier cry and you stood there like a numb turd? Jesus H. Christ, you piss me off as much as the bitch you’re bitching about.

  5. purplefire, really, a fresh fish. i would have oved to have seen that, but would have given the broad the fish back, right in the face.

  6. I was in shock… finished serving her and went in the cash office and cried lol
it was like my first month on the job!! Poor, young me 🙁

  7. The OP should have spoken up. People in public need to be put in their place, especially this cranky old bitch. Maybe her tampon turned sideways?

  8. I’d love to see more people in retail stand up for themselves. It’s not immoral or illegal to put a rude, cunty customer in his/her place if they’re going out of their way to be a jerk.

  9. True, Hugo, and it would depend on the wording you use and the delivery. My position is that no customer has the right to shit on a retail worker and if the employee is ragged on they are perfectly within their legal and moral rights to speak up. It doesn’t have to be rude or loud or dramatic at all.
