Sorry about that Mr. Beard. I didn’t do a secondary look to the right before leaving the stop sign and I almost hit you as you crossed.
Your amazing reflexes allowed you to dodge the front end of my car and I really do feel terrible about it. I did apologize to you, but I should have also said thanks for not tripping balls at me.
