You were trying to direct traffic (including buses) on a busy street so an old lady with a walker could cross the street. What is wrong with you? there was a cross walk about a block down the street! USE IT

  1. So that you wouldn’t have to stop your car for 20 seconds you think this woman should take her walker another block to cross the likes of Gottigen Street? What’s wrong with you? Do you really think you’re that important? Sure, jaywalking may be illegal but we treat dogs running into the road with more respect than you’re willing to offer an elder. You’re an asshole! There’s a pole attached to that broom in your broom closet! USE IT!

  2. good going to the traffic stopper. tecnically if there was a crosswalk a block down the street then she was at some corner which in itself is a legal crosswalk even if unmarked. atleast someone helpped her cross safely and probably faster then if she was on her own.

  3. YES! I was on the 1 and some guy ran out in front of the bus to stop it so this lady could pass! he almost killed himself plus the old lady

  4. Unless the crossing was made at an intersection, as JMO suggests, then the wannabe crossing guard has, like so many people, their heart in the right place but not their brain.

Deciding to eschew Canadian traffic laws for the sake of little old ladies sounds nice, but is just stupid and risky.

  5. so much for independent thinking… I’m beginning to think LTWWB bitches are secretly communists who want a rule or bylaw for every communication imaginable so let’s legislate kindness. What fuckery that would cause! It’s such a strange way to think for Haligonia. Tourism Canada would like people to think this is a friendly part of of the world. What a huge snow job! You know what happens in Haligonia when you try to help an old lady across the road…?

  6. Seriously Kay, there it is again: “friendly Nova Scotia”. You are so bitter about that point. Did you come here expecting everyone to worship you or something? Maybe Nova Scotia is just full of people like you who come here expecting niceness yet don’t seem willing to offer any up themselves.
Give your head a shake and over us already. *rolls eyes*

  7. Kay, this is what you do. Get on the 102, when you pass Truro take the 104 West exit and keep on going and don’t come back.

  8. Kay, wasn’t it you who used to say “It’s ILLEGAL” when we defend a certain group of smokers?
    you can’t pick and chose.

  9. what are you going on about zZz? I’m the one telling people to take a chill pill

You’re all so good at the hating.

  10. Bro Tim, I thought you were going to say:

Get near the 102, then find a little old lady, then try to help her cross it. …and get a good demonstration of why we like people to cross in designated areas.

  11. Kay -> him helping her cross the road is fine and a nice gesture for sure, BUT…he ran infront of moving card including a bus.
Where it was a nice gesture he was putting himself, the old lady, the people on the bus and all the people in moving cars in harm.

I agree some people here are not very friendsly but you get that no matter where you are at.
