To the folks who organized, made donations to and/or attended a benefit auction at a little place on the waterfront on Saturday night… what an amazing night for a family and little man dealing with challenges that they could not control. I am not part of the family but, as a mama, it made my heart happy to feel the love in the room that night. And, although I wasn’t the winning bidder (but oh so close) on one of those jerseys signed by a local guy who just so happened to score a goal that was absolutely golden … I still left with a smile on my face. Thanks to all who helped to make a difference that night, but most of all… I send wishes of health and happiness to the little man that has made his way into the hearts of people whom he’s never met. —Just a Mama
