Why the hell are people so ignorant? the other day while I was working an older women approached me complaining there was too much milk in a jug than later complained there was to many garbage bags in one box and that she only needed a little bit of each. What the fuck is your problem? I don’t decide how much of one thing goes in another quit bringing me down… damn

  1. (morbid joke time )…well if she was that old maybe buying two WHOLE weeks worth of milk at once is just asking for trouble 🙂 ( seriousness time )Alot of seniors are on such tight budgets that buying more than is needed till next paycheck would be a financial burden. for example it milk on comes in “two weeks worth sizes” and she only needs milk to get her to next week it may seem like waste. The Elderly are like that, especially Depression era elderly. You are SO right though about you not deciding the quantity of the items sold on the shelves. I think she was just frustrated and was venting to the first employee she was in verbal contact with. of course if you work at Costco forget everything i just said, that place is fucking ridiculous for sizes!

  2. ummm, I’m pretty sure milk comes in 1L containers and if that’s too much there are personal sizes, 250ml and even smaller. Garbage bags come in packages of 10 for like 99 cents at the dollar store, so really there’s no excuse…people just like to hear themselves talk.

  3. Stupid old cow – I think some people create this kind of drama to channel other frustrations, like a mundane, boring existence. I really have to applaud people in retail – the shit you have to deal with is more than most of us could tolerate.

  4. I used to love this in retail. People who would like expect you to magically pull a product that doesnt exist or you dont carry out of your ass.
