It’s coming up on a year since I found out I was going to be making a decision I couldn’t undo. It’s really only been in the past few months that I’ve recovered from it. And a little love to self feels appropriate. Sometimes I imagine what my life would be like had I made a different decision, but I always know I made the right one. To the person I love most in the world—you’re doing really well, and I’m proud of you for all of the decisions you have made. For your maturity and unrelenting drive to move forward. It was hard, and more hard things will happen, but you will make it through. At this point I’m confident you can make it through anything. —From Me

Aw! Way to go you!
Yeah, but underneath the attempts at convincing yourself of all this really lies the secret fear that you’ll crack… like affirmations in New Age practise when people say “I’m attractive, healthy and whole!” which REALLY just says “I’m ugly, disgusting and desperate”…. really, not trying to be mean but its true…. if you were so confident, why’d you have to post it to begin with? Smells like neurotic squirmy bullshit to me…
