to GAIL who didn’t agree with the former nubodys menmber,as a current member i do agree with’em.after consulting with a few trainers in that gym, they do assure me thats its cheaper and better to invest slowly in a home gym since most machines now come with life-time warranties.to protect his identity i will not name that trainer.and to those 4 mid-eastern women who work out side by side daily, sweat don’t yap on the ellipticals!

yeah stop talking ladies! you’re destroying my BURN!!!!
While it may be cheaper in a long run to purchase home equipment, there’s a lot in the health club that people don’t get with home equipment.Proper instruction – (aside from a training manual), but ‘real’ knowledge about the exercises. You never want to risk hurting yourself.Accountability – How many people do I know with home equipment they use as a clothes hamper..Varied Routine – Your body will become accustom to that home equipment ‘very’ fast, and then you will no longer see any progress. you should vary your routine often.Socializing – While not everyone wants someone to smile and say hi while they workout, many enjoy it to the boredom of doing the exact same exercises staring at the exact same wall. Not to mention all the classes, various education programs etc etc offered in an actual health club. With the right trainer, you can go exceedingly far towards reaching your goals, and developing new ones. Finally – I would absolutely call BS on a trainer telling you it’s better to purchase home equipment.. That would be like a BMW dealer telling you to buy a Ford (giving inferior business to somebody else).
