Have you ever been in a conversation with someone who has had a firm opinion about China/Tibet, or even Israel/Palestine? If so… Then have you ever been told by this special someone that if Group A did this, then Group A and B would be happily ever after (even though your general knowledge on the matter shows Group A and B straight-up, not digging each other for lets say…more than 200 hundred years, and that being a “comfort zone” average)? If so…
Then you’ve been led to believe an undereducated mid-20’s guy think out country changing solutions. Guess what fellow bitchers? That guy sipping that coffee, sounding so sure of himself, is probably running on fumes of wikipedia and MSNBC, and doesn’t know what he’s talking about.
I’m not bragging, but I know what I’m talking about when I say we know nothing about these ‘land wars of foreign countries’ other than that the more bigger/bad-assest mother, is probably going to win (….eventually, GOD!).

Absolutely, and who’s to say that the uneducated folks don’t know about the situation in question. Don’t forget too: the education that you have could biased as well, making you no better then the people than you’re bitching about. If you think someone’s being a know it all, call them out and have an academic discussion (even though clearly that this is not an academic forum)!
Self-proclaimed experts are usually full of shit. And, as the OP pointed out, anyone can get thumbnail stories from millions of internet sources and string them together for whatever argument they want to present. We Westerners will never fully understand the roots and reasons for these conflicts – they run thousand of years deep.
Bloody hell is God being blamed for something here, yet again.GroupA or GroupB does this or that, who freakin’ cares! Please keep your opinion about God & War etc. to yourself. IF there was a God,& I’m not saying there is or isn’t…Just’ if there was a God, do you really think God would pick a side? I don’t think an all powerful omniputent being would even notice such pettiness in the first place.
You have an over inflated sense of our importance in this universe ,of which what we’ve discovered so far we only understand less than 5% of. And God isn’t in that 5 % .

Well I always say the easy way to achive peace is to nuke both sides. They’re both dead and there is no more fighting. 1 problem sovled God only knows how many more problems have been created.
Note I said it was the easy way out, not the smart or right way out.
