You harassed me for having my scarf up over my mouth when I got on the bus last night (not my nose, just my mouth). You claimed it was a ‘safety risk’ – I had literally just stepped on the bus from where I had been waiting in the -22C temperature. Really? Do I look like I’m getting on the bus to shoot up the place, or beat someone down? It’s fucking cold out, lady. I was showing you my bus pass which is conveniently located next to my picture ID in my wallet. I’m a ‘safety risk’ with my scarf over my mouth, yet you let people with jumbo strollers on to block up the aisles of crowded buses without batting an eyelash for people’s ‘safety’. Okay, then. —cold and pissed

Yes, since they lost out big on that last contract deal, they’ve gotten it into their heads that they can generally harass and berate the riders.
I’ve taken a few to task over their comments; one even stopped and told me to exit the bus. I refused and told him to call the Police; he decided it was in his best interest to continue.
They have no right or authority to speak to you in that manner, let alone correct what they perceive to be behaviour they don’t like. Call 311.

Policy is that any headgear that covers the face (other than religious) has to be taken off upon boarding the bus, this is for safety reasons. Would you walk into a store with the scarf up over your face then get pissed because the security guard told you to take it off? If so OP you are living in the wrong world. I suggest maybe the 10th dimension maybe the 20th!
I was moving Christmas crapola around the other day and found my old bus drivers badge from England – West Yorkshire Road Car Company – Driver, brought back some good and some shitty memories. Most members of the public are good, same as most drivers, then there are the smaller percentage of unreasonable, miserable fuckers, both members of the public and drivers.
Nostalgia makes me thirsty, beer please garçon, with an eggnog and rum chaser, easy on the eggnog – oh, and Andy Chowdown, go festively fuck yourself.
Metro Transit’s union would report this bitch as cyber-bullying. Then they’d all get raises again.
Only if the driver appeared naked on a TV show that was shown internationally.
For Christmas this year all my friends are getting T-shirts with Leslore Spam’s tits and minge silkscreened on them. Then on International Bullying Awareness Day we flashmob Province House. Or not.
That last part keeps this from being a threat.

My New Years Resolution – I’m going to take the bus, have a huge stroller without a sprog in it, put my backpack on two seats, the ones for disabled and oldies, jam up the volume on my iPad, take a drink onboard and spill it, keep kneading my crotch as I stare at some welfare mare, and just for NF, not clean my fangs three days before doing this, all this wearing a “Free Omar Khadr” T shirt and munching on a bacon sarnie.

What’s fucked up is that Metro Transit does not post a sign outside the bus like most convenience stores do, asking patrons to take off hoodies and ski masks etc, BEFORE they enter the store, or in our case, the bus.

omg.. get over your self.. I’m sure she didn’t harass you about it.. prob just asked you to lower it and gave you the rules.. as the bus driver she can tell you to leave if you do not follow the rules.. she needs to keep herself first and then the rest of the people on the bus safe of anyone coming on the bus. Now unless she followed you to your seat and announced to the whole bus that you might be dangerous then just get over it and let her do her job.

If someone was going to shoot up a whole bus I am pretty sure they have no expectations of getting away.. Mask = pointless.
