f you insist on remaining in the establishment for my entire shift jamming money in VLT machines, winning & buying rounds of drinks- never tipping, ordering free glasses of tap water every 15 minutes, winning $999.95 a ticket and taking even the last 5 cents then…be aware you treated me badly enough with your words and deeds; but even that I could have overlooked if I had been tipped appropriately for 10 plus hours of prompt & friendly srevice. So know this you fuck. You tipped me you just never knew you were. After 6 & a half hours of you and you treatment, I took it from you. You deserved to be ripped off.

First of all, your a dirty thief, worse than those dirt bags on VLTs.When do you think its your right to get a tip? Maybe your service was terrible and it wasnt warranted a tip. Then again if the guy is on VLTS hes probably already in the hole … and not actually winning anything… Post where you work so I can call them to inform them one of their employees is a thief. No matter how you justify yourself, you are stealing from someone whose most likely in the hole.

@ K – Those “fucks” (as you put it) are the only thing keeping some small businesses open. And I’ve never heard of anyone having a problem getting a table for food or drink because the VLT players were in the way….they tend to put those machines in separate rooms, not on tables where food is served.BTW, working people also play those machines, not just unemployed and welfare recipients. The VLT’s take anyone’s money, they don’t give a shit if you worked hard for it or sat on your ass for it!@ OP – Shame on you for taking advantage of someone with an addiction or a disease or both! Ho. Ly. Fuck. Nice admission, asshole. If their words and deeds were bad enough to make you break the law and rip off a customer, you could have informed your boss and stopped serving them. Choosing to use their behaviour to justify your own shittiness and theft is pretty pathological. This is one of the clearest examples of bad workplace behaviour I’ve ever seen. To the rest of you honest and decent serving people, THIS person (the OP) is why bar managers get frustrated and have to bring heavy hands, and why some of you aren’t trusted and feel like you’re constantly being monitored. As a former restaurant worker, this really burns my ass. I’ll make sure my friends who own places in the city read this; maybe you work for one of them, Bartender. Maybe one of them will remember the night/customer in question, and maybe your ass will be the next one asking for a glass of water at the bar.
I had this happen to me….I planned to stay all night and tip at the end, which I told the guy serving me, who knows me enough to trust me…I figured I’m spending what I want before I give what you want. Little did the guy that took my money know that I knew the owner of the bar who just happened to be there that night….I told him and got 3 free rounds for me and my friends of whatever we wanted to drink….don’t know if he was punished….the worst part is he took 9.00 on a 4.50 bill
