Oh so how lovely it is to be in the season of “roll up the rim to win” the streets, bus shelters, benches and really anything else that can be lucky enough to be in the path of those infamous tims cups are littered with them! I’m not sure how long the contest has been running, but too long for my liking! You know who you are, toting your BYOB reusable sack careless promenading down city streets only to chuck your unlucky cup onto innocent outdoor receptables–none of which are actually garbage cans! For the love of feral cats and backyard hens of Halifax, march your lazy ass to one of those lovely black glossy bins! Even better chuck the empty cup in your cloth bag, ‘you got on the environmental band wagon because you thought it would make you hot!’

Is it really Timmy’s fault if people throw the cups on th ground rather than the garabage? Nope its the consumer’s fault. Those people don’t have respect for nature at all. Even if you slapped a surcharge on the cups itself you would still see them on the ground. Some people are just careless when they are tossing stuff.
May I add my dear Princess Bitch, these people are not careless. They are lazy-ass fidiots that have no concerns of their actions.
The OP did not once state that Tim’s was at fault in anyway Princess. As a matter of fact they specifically say:”You know who you are, toting your BYOB reusable sack careless promenading down city streets only to chuck your unlucky cup onto innocent outdoor receptables–“You really must read thoroughly before the verbal diarrhea forces you to comment…people are quite clearly tiring of your constant posting of ignorance. How can you not see the writing on the wall, every post you make is easily scorned for the obvious and I never see anyone coming to your defense other than NMH and Lori who both also have this same posting issue. You have had to make up user names to have defenders of our statements…pretty sad.
Once again a certain frequent poster muddies the water with her pointless and unnecessary commentary. The OP was aimed specifically at consumers, that was painfully obvious to anyone who actually read the bitch. Please, please, if you feel it absolutely necessary to comment on every single bitch, at least have the courtesy to read the bitches carefully, and come up with a reasoned, helpful, and relevant comment.Otherwise stay out of it. You’re clearly just posting for the sake of posting, the written equivalent of talking to hear your own voice.
I have never once came to the defence of this or any other self proclaimed Princess, Christopher…so take your own advice and read thoroughly before making false statements! I am ALMOST as tired of your ignorance as I am of hers! However, I would rather read 10 of your comments as apposed to one from “the princess”.
I’m with you there Lori! I cannot stand Christopher’s one-dimensional, self-righteous, right-wing attitude. It’s just as annoying as anything Princess has ever written, probably more so. And isnt the the most pedantic poster on this site?
Christopher might be way right-wing, but at least he can put together a sentence, and back up his own opinions, as offensive as they might be.
Oops, typo. I meant isnt ‘he’ the most pedantic!
What, so are you speaking in general terms, or are you suddenly against me now, Qwerty?
Of course I’m not against you, I just really wish that other freak would go away and I was somewhat dismayed to see someone encouraging her to stay (which, obviously, is your right to do)! I hate most of what Christopher says, but his posts are not comparable to the trash the PuBe spews. Not even close.
Thanks, Matt. (Sorry, just saw your post.)And I agree: very few people seem to give a shit about keeping their city clean. On the other hand, you can walk for blocks and blocks, in some high-traffic areas of the city, and not see a single public trash can. At what point does a person’s obligation to dispose of his or her garbage properly (i.e., not chuck it on the ground) become nullified by the city’s refusal to provide a place to dispose of it?
I see your point about the lack of garbage cans Mortimer, and check out some of the bus stops too with the same garbage spilling out of the cans there for days on end. I don’t think it’s ever cool just to dump it on the ground though…i’d rather lug my garbage home than throw it on the sidewalk, as annoying as that is.
Hey, Miles. I tend to do the same as you, but I can sure understand how some people (who might otherwise get rid of their garbage properly) get frustrated and say the hell with it. Not that this explains why so many people chuck empty coffee cups, pop cans, etc. everywhichway. That’s just laziness. For the record, in case anyone fails to understand what I just said back there, and tries to take us off on another pointless tangent, I am not condemning the companies who sell the coffee. It is not their fault that consumers are too lazy to dispose of their trash properly. However, having said that, why does one company insist on double-cupping nearly every cup of coffee they sell, even when the customer hasn’t requested the second cup? While it’s the consumer who rightly gets the blame for littering, the company does bear some responsibility for the quantity of litter: there’d be much less of it, if they’d stop double-cupping willy-nilly.
