So this has happened to me twice in the last week. I’m pulling into a vacant space in a busy parking lot and a car is entering the space from the other side using my space as a throughsie exit. If you waited 5 seconds for them to complete their ‘throughsie’, you’d get a ‘throughsie’ too.
OR make them back out by slowly advancing your car into that spot.
You’ll accomplish two things by doing this:
1. you’ll get a throughsie and
2. you get to be a prick at the same time.

it comes down to who has the bigger car, and bettter insurance. won’t hurt to be a 300 pounder at about 6.6 feet either.
Install a snowplow kit on the front of your vehicle, and the next time someone wants your drive through, just rev the engine.

I don’t think there are “rules” for this. You just gotta suck it up drive around to the other side and park. Why let something so trivial upset you.
Like Naveed said, if they are driving right out wait two seconds and you can get your spot. If not, well, park somewhere else.
I had a similar issue in my last apartment. We sort of shared a driveway with the building next to us and they assumed our side was their throughway when it was actually part of our driveway. The parking lot for our building was in back and sometimes the maintenance people would park in the lane between buildings which would lead to arguments between the maintenance folks and tenants from next door. They tried pulling the same with us but it stopped mighty fast.
so this is where it would come in handy to be a douche in a hummer marauder….
