How is it possible that my glasses get so GD filthy when all they do is sit on the end of my nose all day? Every morning I take them out of the case, wipe them off, put them on, and within 30 minutes, they look like I licked them and rolled them in schmutz! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH! To all you bitchers who will suggest contacts, they are not an option. And besides, I like the style I get with glasses, I just hate the fricking SCHMUTZ! —IIII

  1. I have the same problem…my problem is that my nose bridge is almost non-existent and my eye lashes are long.

  2. I love my glasses and have the same problem: perpetually filthy lenses.

I too am tired of people suggesting I get contacts. I’ve had my glasses for 24yrs. I’ve grown accustomed to them and do rather like them. So no, I do not want to stick something in my eye, thank you.

  3. it’s from your eyebrows o.p., mine does that all the time. i have to keep cleaning them, or won’t be able to see to type or read. it’s dust and body oils that exude from your skin to the hair folicules.

  4. ..it’s general shit in the air… that’s why you anti-smoker bitches need to stfu bout 2nd hand smoke .. capice!

  5. You’re dumb, sebastian. Lasik surgery is maybe 60% reliable. Unproven cosmetic surgery tends to cost more in the long run. Close but no dick-in-your-ass.

  6. You’re right NGF. If it was successful and saves money over the long haul it would be covered by medical insurance and the Public Service Health Care Plan doesn’t cover lasik.

  7. i see fine with glasses, i don’t want to be messing around with that. oh dearie me, i’m imperfect…teehee

  8. I tried contacts and within a year my eyes outright rejected them. I hear ya on the cleaning bit, in my case it is lashes because I tend to push them back a lot.

  9. Get good lenses. I spent the money for Crizal and it was worth every penny. I can go two to three days without cleaning them.
