Ok, I get it. A big house burned and it was all over the news. Guess what else was on the news? Pictures. There is really no need for the (at least) 50 or so drivers who insisted in parading through Vicky Crescent yesterday for hours to get a good look at other people’s personal tragedy. To make matters worse they seemed to be oblivious to each other, I watched three cars almost have a collision driving 5km an hour because they were all looking at the house, not the road or any of the dozens of kids outside playing. If you need to feed your morbid curiosity, look something horrible up on the internet, no need to endanger others. —Vicky Crescent resident

  1. Unfortunately it is human nature. It’s really no different than going to a funeral home to view the deceased. People have been going to tragedies for millennia.
