On the #1 bus to Mumford last Wednesday night, you were doing your nails, maybe after doing someone else. Who knows and who cares. All I care about is sitting in a seat without disgusting nail clippings everywhere and maybe drippings of another source. Stay the fuck home next time. —Disgusted

Who the hell cuts their nails on a bus! I’ve said it time and time again it’s gross to do this is public areas. Do it at home in your bathroom!

I don’t mind nail filing in public. I keep a file with me at all times and when I chip a nail I’ll file it because I can’t STAND rough edges on my nails. You’re not dealing with clippings, you’re just dealing with dust, pretty much. I don’t do my nails in public, but I would file a rough edge down no problem.

Eeeeeeeeew…inhaling germy old nail dust! (Perhaps thinking of fixing a chipped nail as you would other bodily functions and waiting for the privacy that a washroom provides would seem a little more dignified -and considerate.)

You’re pretty uptight if you think nail clippings are disgusting. Think about all the farts you’re breathing in while on the bus. Tell people to stop farting while they’re on the bus because it’s disgusting instead.
Nail clippings or nail dust doesn’t bother me.
I don’t care if they’re mining their nose for gold & eating anything they find that isn’t gold !
Gross, sure its gross, but that IMO isn’t anywhere near as gross as those who are too sick to be out of bed, but there they are… hacking up a lung, coughing trillions of cold & or flu germs all over the damn place.For me that is especially W R O N G, yet most people don’t fucking care about anyone else !
Which is a really good reason to not take the bus. Why I stay out of crowded places as much as I can, & probably why living out here in the boonies, having as little to do with mankind as I can get away with, is why its been so long since I’ve had a flu or a cold !
I also start taking vitamin C & echinacea before hunting season starts & i keep it up until spring..it may not help, but it hasn’t killed me yet either !
