If I’m in the intersection at Robie/Cunard/North Street, have been waiting to turn left to since a green light and am still in the intersection when it’s red and am trying to complete said turn, kindly do NOT run the red light coming toward me! If I hadn’t breaked at the last second, YOU would’ve been the one to have been killed because of the angle and the fact that you were doing over 70. I’m just trying to get out of the damn intersection!

If there HAD been an accident (IE if I hadn’t been bright enough to slam on the breaks), it would’ve held up an awful lot of people in the city as well as severely injuring both of us.

And people say WOMEN are the bad drivers!

  1. “I’m just trying to get out of the damn intersection!”If the exit wasn’t clear, you shouldn’t have been IN the intersection to begin with! So says my handy dandy NS Drivers Handbook!

  2. That’s right, Jennifer, I only drive around the city clockwise (idiot). Read the fucking book. Maybe if more people weren’t in such a rush, everyone would have time to make it through the light and on to their destination without killing somebody! It’s called being a courteous and cautious driver, not ‘who can get there first’.

  3. Lindsay, everybody except you proceeds to the centre of the intersection while waiting to turn left at a green light. Grab a glove and get in the game for the big win.

  4. And the exit clear comment is more for when traffic has not cleared forward from where you intend to turn to…you know like when all those idiots block the intersection because they proceeded into the intersection while the road ahead was still full and not moving forward…like the intersection at North and Agricola or any of the North street intersections near the bridge.
