THE REALLY REAL
Your reference to “quintessential,” which is only an adjective meaning basic or actual, was ambiguous until your subsequent reference to “real” clarified things, but only partially. Clearly you reference is to the “really real” but once more ambiguity looms. Obviously you are not a post-modernist, a post-structuralist or even an existentialist since for them there IS no “really real” in the sense that there exists a substratum of reality underlying the flux of daily existence, but it is not clear whether you are a full-blown Platonist or even an Aristotelian. Perhaps you can clear that up.
In any case, one doesn’t get much of a chance to discuss metaphysics on this site. So thanks a lot.
