I just want to acknowledge the law enforcement officers who chaperoned a “law-breaker” to the ER when I was there one evening. I was impressed with the way they remained in control, yet also went out of their way to ensure this person was comfortable and had what they needed. The cops get a bad rap at times, but even though this person was in cuffs, they made sure they did not treat them like they were.
Bravo, and I hope you are the ones the younger (well, younger than you…) cops look up to when they come on board.
