6am, I’m coming out of a gas station, on my way to work.

There’s an occupy protestor standing outside having a cigarette. He’s dressed in a denim jacket, jeans. He looked like he hadn’t showered or changed his clothes in several days. His hair was the typical scraggly hippy doo, unkept, unwashed, borderline dreadknots.
The occupy NS t-shirt was white, but it had green ‘dill’ looking dust on it.
This guy was swaying worse than a buggy whip in a wind storm, and he smelled like a 2 bit whore house. Even at 10 feet, his BO just about knocked me over.

Well, anyway, back to my story… as I was coming out of the station, Mr. Occupy NS was talking to himself, and I’m not sure who was winning the argument. But, I managed to catch one comment that struck me as odd.

He said “No, I don’t do that, that is for losers!” —WTF?!?!?

  1. It’s WAY worse when they’re creepers.
You ever walk along and then find yourself wondering what that odd smell is?
I was in the GTiger yesterday as they opened and immediately thought, “eww… mildewy smell, maybe just stagnant air or something from being closed all night… definitely not going to buy any food if the place smells like this….”
then the guy behind me passed by and as I went in the other direction through an aisle the stench cleared and I regained my faith in the Tiger again.

    filthy fucking skeezy people….. ewwww.

  2. You live in FAIRVIEW, zed. Why do you expect anything more than filthy, stenchy, grunge? Especially considering the fact that you were in Tiger to begin with.

That place has a weird smell on its own, never mind the fairviewians in there. FFS.

  3. Theory or loser relativity: you don’t have to look too far to find someone who is a bigger loser than yourself, no matter how much of a loser you are.

  4. well I have a cold so it must have been pretty pungent.
I can barely taste or smell anything and that unfortunate aroma came across almost immediately.

    God damn Fairview is skeezy.
It’s so skeezy, when I go to the KFC, people ask to lick MY fingers….

  5. I think the theory of loser relativity goes like this: If a skanky occupier is standing on a train travelling at 1/2 the speed of light, and another skanky occupier is standing on a train going in the opposite direction at 1//2 the speed of light…….each skank will insist that the other skank has an infinite mass, doesn’t exist dimensionall, and requires an infinite amount of energy to propel him.

But the real question is: will they be able to smell each other’s BO? in my opinion, they will be.

BTW, OB, thanks for the story, I shiver at the thought of how bad someone would have to be in order to be called a loser from this loser.

  6. i sort of half expected you to bitch about the fact that he was lighting up at a gas station.. But whatever.. This was funny to read.. in a sort of gleefully unnecessary way.

  7. At least you have the cold weather to scare these clowns away, we get them out here all year round.

  8. I don’t know…sometimes you just have to wonder. That person is skeezy to most, but to someone else he is a brother, a best friend. A son. Sometimes I feel bad walking by people, knowing they have nobody to help take care of themselves, keep them on track.

  9. Since when do Occupy Protesters wake up at 6am? Christ, most don’t even crawl out of their parents’ basements until noon.
