Regularly whenever I go to or from work I find myself and others being annoyed and inconvenienced by groups of people who choose to stand in the middle of the sidewalk conversing. Why are you so oblivious and unaware of the fact that you are being very selfish and rude to your fellow citizens who wish to pass without having to step out into traffic, walk across someone’s front yard?. Why do you stand there so idignant glaring hatefully at me because I bumped into you or one of your friends as I attempted to squeeze past you carrying my shopping?. Common sense people, if you wish you visit with your friends by all means feel free to do so BUT PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE have the common sense and courstesy to step to the side and permit other people to go about their business thank you…

  1. I basically agree except I will stop look at them and say “excuse me” with force but and indignation. If they actually look at me quizzically I’ll point out the rudeness.
Same goes for people walking 2 or more abreast that do not even attempt to move out of the way when I am walking alone and to the side already.

  2. I think what’s hysterical is that some people are really bothered if they’re glared at or shot a dirty look. Phhhhtttt! Who gives a rat’s ass?

  3. If I were you I’d interrupt their conversation by standing right in front of them, staring, and listening in until they get bleeping pissed and run off.
