To a diligent gardener: You have a beautiful garden and obviously very little space, which is a shame because you have a lovely gift, but the sidewalk is not your garden. The planters don’t belong on the sidewalk and the tall plants shouldn’t overhang the space. You are so close to the grocery store and there are lots of pedestrians—the crosswalk is at the top of your street, that’s the only place it’s marked to cross.
You don’t seem to realize the difficulty you are making for your neighbours with strollers or wheelchairs, carrying their groceries or anyone else that needs the whole space of the sidewalk.
Just because it’s enough room for you and you have full mobility doesn’t mean that it’s wide enough for everyone else. The sidewalk is not your garden! —A Neighbour Who Would Enjoy Your Garden if They Could Get By

  1. If we lived near someone so fucking rude, Hub-Unit would strap a whipper snipper to his walker and behead her precious peonies in no time flat.

  2. But then you’d make him go read to her while she kicked her morphine addiction, right Atticus? >; )

  3. H-U just received a proper sprinkling of nostril beer after I read your post. Thanks for clearing ’em out, old buddy!

  4. I prophesy that the remake of the Stooges will be about as good as the remake of the Inspector Clouseau movies – a big fucking dudarama.
