Let’s be clear, when this bill passed, it was approved by every sitting member of parliament. Not one Nay vote.
So I want to know where the veterans sit in Justin Trudeau’s list of priorities. Currently, he is running around spending money that the country doesn’t have. Will he include the veterans in on this shopping trip? I sure hope so. Once reality hits, I don’t believe that he will do as much as he could and should for our veterans. —rightfully impatient

Let’s be clear, the votes a given bill or act receives does not necessarily mean its good legislation. Sounds like political suicide to vote against something that supposedly helps veterans. I’ve heard general complaints about lump sum payments closure of veterans affairs offices but can’t comment on the bill as a whole.
Let’s be clear. He’s doing this for public sector employees, not for veterans. Just watch the C.U.P.E. Centipede form up next time he holds a press conference.
