A big thanks to the local autoport for rearranging their yard and creating a loading zone behind my house. Now 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including holidays I get the constant joy of listening to idling trucks within a hundred meters of my back porch! I’m also glad that you take full advantage of being a federal property and not having to follow any local noise by-laws. Of course I understand that it needs to be there, you only have 100 acres to work with, and as you informed me this is the “best possible location” for it. Nice to know that when it comes to disturbing your neighbours, you don’t give a damn! —Driven Crazy

And you didn’t notice the Autoport when you moved there?
If you are waiting for us to become less dependent on cars rendering your backyard useless, then you have some waiting to do.
At the risk of “crossing the threads” I will offer you this advice OP.
Build yourself a dog shit trebuchet and have at ‘er!
It was there before you.
you are lucky you don’t live in a flight path of an airport then. yeah, that place can get noisy, i worked security there back in the day. and most of the time, you could hear yourself think. and i could say move, but why should you have to. sorry, you’ll have to put up with it somehow, others try to also, so you aren’t alone.
The autoport rocks! All those nice new 2011s fresh off the boat. And I don’t mean migrants.
