I live on a little hidden side street just at the beginning of a big road, and every day I try not to die as I try to turn my car into the street without being able to see properly around the curve for oncoming traffic. I have called the city on three separate occasions, as have previous tenants in my home, and as have other people who live on my street- the city is unwilling to put up either a mirror for us or a hidden driveway sign for other cars. So, to the asshole who screamed as he drove past ‘learn how to drive, wooooooo,’ please channel that energy into calling the city and getting some sort of traffic system going where reckless speeding douchebags can continue about their business without having to slow down for people just trying to leave their house in the morning. And to all you folks who drive at reasonable speeds which allow you to slow down if you happen to be just at the curve when I pull out- sorry, it is physically impossible for me to have seen you, I didn’t want to cut you off, and thanks for not killing me. —Just Trying Not To Die
