Way to teach your kids the law… start by slapping around kind old women. I would have had the mother by the throat up against the bus wall until the cops arrived. You’re not allowed to hit people. When your pregnant or have kids, strangers seem to think that it gives them the right to stick their nose in where it doesn’t belong. The things I’ve had said to me by complete strangers would blow your mind. That being said, even people with not so good intentions, Ill always handle with words, mostly polite! I would NEVER hit someone! That’s beyond okay.
Thanks to the Privacy Act the data on the bus cams cannot be downloaded by transit officials without a formal complaint of an incident taking place. So someone needs to call Metro Transit with the bus number, route number/name, date and approximate time of the occurence. That will let a staff member access the hard drive and pass along the data to the police and transit officials.

My concern would be, that if this person is comforitable enough to hit a old lady stranger on a bus in front of everyone, how comforitable are they hitting their kids behind closed doors. 6 kids would be alot of stress and this person would have to be stressed out to act in this fashion.
