What the hell is with the number of Melvin-esque greasebags in this city? Not 5 minutes ago I had some skeletor crackhead and his teenage-pregnancy-case girlfriend come up behind me at the bus stop and, entirely unprovoked, tell me how he’d like to “punch it [me] in the face, if it [I] even had a face.” Then spent a 15-minute bus ride listening to these 20-something children talk about the drama they had on the go: who they hated, who they wanted to “smash”, and their knives. I may be an “Asian bitch,” as one group of teenage boys on Chebucto Road put it, but I’ll have the last laugh when I’ve finished my degree and gone to work elsewhere while you’re rotting here, FUCKING HELL.
Before one of you lovely regulars tells me to “go back to Toronto” or some bullshit like that, I was born here, so suck it.
What do these people do beyond age 30-40, anyway? Sit at home on welfare and smoke away whatever brain cells remain?

I think I saw these two losers on Spring Garden the other night. First they asked me if I could spare a bus ticket, then they asked if I wanted to buy an IPod Touch. Fucking sketchbags punk-ass kids! Always hanging out in front of Maccas and Lawtons on SG. Anyway, it is kind of shitty, but every city has this element, not just Halifax.
Granville Street in Vancouver, for example, is a hundred times sketchier.
